Custom Medium Voltage Cable
In addition to standard MV cable products, we can also customize MV cables for you based on your specific application needs. Our custom cable solutions can be developed and designed around a variety of parameters and manufacturing variants. Include:
Cross-Sectional Area: usually 35mm2 to 630mm2
Number of Cores: single-core or triple core.
Conductor: solid or stranded aluminum conductor, stranded copper conductor.
Insulation: XLPE (frequently used as a medium voltage cable) or EPR (because it is relatively flexible, it is often used in marine or marine applications).
Metal Shield: concentric copper wire screen, an aluminum foil laminate, extruded lead alloy sheath.
Armored: Aluminum tape armor is mainly used for single-core cables, and galvanized steel wire armor is mainly used for multicore cables.
Outer Sheath: We can tailor it to specific requirements. Cable jacket materials include PVC, EPR, LSZH, etc., to meet different environmental requirements.

There is always some ambiguity in the range of voltage levels for medium voltage underground transmission cables. It depends on the country, as well as the standards-appointed bodies. We consider transmission lines with medium voltage levels above 3KV and below 35KV.
Copper XLPE Insulation Power Cable
Product 1 --- N2XSY Power Cable
Conductor: Bare copper wire for round bare wire
Insulation: Cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE), PE compound DIX8 to HD 620.1 conductor insulation
Shield: braided with one or two spirally wound copper wires
Sheath: PVC, composite DMV6 to HD 620.1

Product 2 --- Copper XLPE / PVC Insulated Cable
Conductor: Plain annealed copper. Copper conductors shall be stranded.
Conductor Screen: The extruded layer of semiconducting cross-linkable compound is applied over the conductor and shall cover the surface completely. The minimum thickness is 0.3 mm and the maximum resistivity shall not exceed 500 Ohm-m at 90 °C.
Insulation: Insulation is of cross-linked polyethylene compound XLPE.
Sheath: XLPE / PVC / LSZH

Medium Voltage Aluminum Underground Cable
Product 3 --- Aluminum XLPE / PVC Insulated Cable
Conductor: Plain annealed aluminum complying with IEC 60228/BS 6360. Aluminum conductors shall be either solid or stranded.
Conductor Screen: An extruded layer of semiconducting cross-linkable compound is applied over the conductor and shall cover the surface completely. The minimum thickness is 0.3 mm and the maximum resistivity shall not exceed 500 Ohm-m at 90 °C.
Insulation: Insulation is of cross-linked polyethylene compound XLPE.
Sheath: XLPE / PVC / LSZH
