AAC-All Aluminum Conductor
Material:
AAC conductor is made out of hard-drawn aluminum conductor as per EN 60889 Type AL1 according to BS 215.
Application:
AAC is mainly used in urban areas with short distances and close supports. Its characteristics are good corrosion resistance, and it can also be used near the coast.
AAAC-All Aluminum Alloy Conductor
Material:
AAAC conductor is made of from aluminum-magnesium-silicon alloy of high electrical conductivity (min 53% IACS) containing magnesium (0.6-0.9%) & silicon (0.5-0.9%) to give it better mechanical properties after treatment. AAAC conductors are made out of aluminum-alloy 6201.
Application:
Compared with AAC and ACSR, AAAC has better strength and weight, better electrical properties, better vertical tensile properties, and better corrosion resistance. These characteristics make AAAC widely recognized and loved by more people in power distribution and medium and high voltage transmission lines.
ACSR-Aluminum Conductor Steel Reinforced
Material:
The structure of ACSR is simple. It consists of a solid or stranded steel core surrounded by strands of aluminum. Aluminum 1350-H-19 wires, concentrically stranded on a steel core. Core wire for ACSR is available with class A, B, or C galvanizing.
Application:
ACSR has a wide range of applications. Suitable for transmission lines of various voltage levels. Can also be laid in rivers, canyons, and places with special geographical features.
ACAR-Aluminum Conductor Aluminum-Alloy Reinforced
Material:
ACAR is used as bare overhead transmission cable and as primary and secondary distribution cable. Aluminum 1350-H19 wires, concentrically stranded on an aluminum-alloy 6201-T81 core.
Application:
At the same weight, ACAR can provide higher strength and load capacity than ACSR.
ABC-Aerial Bundled Cable
Material:
ABC(Aerial bundling cables) with aluminum core or aluminum-alloy core as conductor, and XLPE / PVC / HDPE as insulation combination.
Application:
ABC cable has the advantages of simple structure, convenient installation, and maintenance, low-cost and large transmission capacity. It is widely used in power transmission and distribution lines of various voltage levels.
Duplex / Triplex Service Drop Wire
Material:
Duplex Service Drop Wire, its main composition is 1350-H19 aluminum with phase conductors concentrically twisted and PVC or XLPE for insulation. The neutral core is made of concentrically twisted AAC, ACSR, or 6201 aluminum alloy.
Application:
Mainly used for 120V overhead service applications. Such as street lighting, outdoor lighting, and building temporary services. The voltage between the phases is 600V and below. The conductor temperature of PVC insulated conductors does not exceed 75 °C, and the conductor temperature of XLPE insulated conductors does not exceed 90 °C.

Packaging of ZMS
